We have been teaching and praying for a break-through in the Spirit for our personal lives, for families, for congregations, for the Body of Messiah — a break-through that will put us on new ground in our relationship to Yeshua and His cross, to our relationship with one another, to an enhanced expression of the freedom of true spiritual unity in the bond of peace, in an understanding of the truth of being one new man in Christ, and of seeing the return of the Lord Jesus as a real and felt need among those who are His. There is obviously a move of God world-wide concerning these things. Just after the organizing committee of the next Negev Conference (in November) chose the subject of such a break-through as the theme of the conference, so, too, did the coordinating team for the next SAYF (Sitting At Yeshua’s Feet) retreat next month in Sde Boker. And then I received an e-mail giving a praise report of a recent Arab Palestinian conference, which also spoke of a break-through and a focus on Isaiah 64.
The break-through will come from the Lord for those who have been preparing themselves for it, anticipating it even while waiting on Him for it. It is in God’s timing, but as the believers wake up/revive to such a need, then the break-through — when it does come — will open up truths more clearly that will both set us free and also sanctify us for our Lord’s purposes. It will be both personal and corporate in its impact.
