That our God is both a God of War (the LORD of Hosts/Armies) and of Peace (the Prince of Peace) can only be reconciled and understood through the cross of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah/Jesus Christ, who won the war against sin, the devil, and death in His willing sacrificial gruesome death on the cross for and because of our sins, and the sin of the world, and gives His peace forever to all who believe this and that He rose from the dead to justify our faith in the one true God and Savior. What a world of difference it makes when we KNOW the TRUTH that sets one free, and we KNOW that GOD KNOWS US. He is our Father, and we are His sons and daughters through our love and thankfulness for Yeshua/Jesus, His beloved first-born Son. Despite the ongoing carnal and spiritual warfare all around us still, we have a peace that surpasses all understanding because we know and believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. Christ has come; and He is coming again!
God the Father’s unique love and relationship with Yeshua is what has, and still is, spurring and ramping up the hatred and murderous envy towards Him by His own people in the flesh, the Jewish people, and by the world who hates the Jews because He came as a Jew in the flesh, and will return as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah to defend and save His beloved chosen people and nation. YHVH God will be justified when He is judged, and He will vindicate and sanctify His great and holy Name when the Day of the LORD comes for Him to judge all His enemies, and the Father makes them a footstool for the King Messiah’s feet!
Despite all of the questions and perplexities of God’s sovereign righteousness and wisdom, stick with Him, cling to Him, until He has completed the work of forever separating the light from the darkness, and the good from every tinge of evil. He is good; all that is not of Him and in Him is evil. God is light; all that is outside of Him is darkness. We need to be IN MESSIAH/CHRIST to be YHVH God’s. The British backed away entirely from their stated intention through the Balfour Declaration on Nov 2, 1917 — their memorandum of understanding — to assist the Jewish people return to their ancient homeland. Yet, they served the God of the nations purpose at that time; and HE continued on towards His determined goal of not only bringing the Jewish people out from of all nations where He had scattered them back to the land which He covenantally promised, with an oath, to give them; but, also, to cleanse them from all their unrighteousness and uncleanness, and to give them a new heart and His Spirit, so that they will be holy people, and He will be their God in reality, never to depart from Him again.
Do we believe this? Thus says the LORD in His God-breathed Scriptures. Do we believe Him?
