Ex 12 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying. . .Every man shall take for himself a lamb. . . . Your lamb shall be without blemish. . . . Then the whole congregation of Israel shall slaughter it at twilight, and they shall take of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. . . . It is YHVH’s Passover.
For I (the LORD) will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt. . .and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment. I Am YHVH. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be on you to destroy when I strike the land of Egypt.
So this day shall be to you a memorial, and you shall celebrate it as a celebration to YHVH throughout your generations. You shall celebrate the feast as an everlasting ordinance.
Rev 5 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the Throne and of the four living beings, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slaughtered (slain), having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the Earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the Throne. . . .
They sang a new song, singing:
You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slaughtered (slain), and have redeemed us to God by Your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us a kingdom of priests to our God; and we shall reign on the Earth.
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the Throne, the living beings, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:
Worthy is the Lamb that was slaughtered (slain), to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!
And every creature which is in Heaven and on the Earth and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
Blessing and honor and glory and power to Him who sits on the Throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!
Then the four living beings said, Amen! And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshipped Him who lives forever and ever.
