ShaLOM, from a dry and thirsty land not yet desperate enough for the only true source of true peace and rest.
In Yeshua’s Inheritance Congregation the last few weeks we have been teaching on the necessity of both the baptism of the Holy Spirit for salvation (new birth), and of the on-going filling of the Holy Spirit as needed for the power necessary to live the victorious life of a believer in Yeshua. Just as God has given this chosen land of His to be mostly desert until the curse and futility are actually taken away after the Lord returns, so, too, at times are our souls dry and thirsty, and crying out for the living waters to submerge us with the fullness of Messiah. The whole creation groans, and we groan with it until the liberty of the full redemption at the resurrection of our bodies. We have been saved in this hope, which is also the hope of the fathers of the Jewish people. (Acts 26:6-8; Rom 8:18-25) That glorious day will surely come!
