Shalom to all of you who are frustrated with hope (Rom 8:18-27)!
There is something about being filled with the Holy Spirit that is joined to the anticipation of the return of the Lord Jesus from Zion above to the Zion that is Jerusalem (Rom 11:25-27; Is 59:20; 62:1-7) here. It would seem that any true revival of the Spirit and the breakthrough from the Lord would quicken in those who love Yeshua a heightened desire for Him to come. The apostle Peter says that we are to hasten that day, even though that day and hour has already been set by the Father. Living faith, a lively hope, and an ardent love that passsionately wants to be with the Beloved can make the time go. Even Messiah Himself says that the days would be shortened for the elects’ sake. Praise the Lord!
Believers from around the world, from every nation and continent, within every stream of the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 3), are feeling within their spirits this need from God to break up the status quo, which has stagnated for many years now, and to wake up the sheep and to shake the nations, that holy fear would come upon every soul as the Day of YHVH nears. God’s desire is that people be saved, and so be spared from His righteous wrath to come. So the gospel goes out still, and the call to repentance goes out still, and the hope of salvation to all who will believe while it is still ‘Today’ and the ‘acceptable year of the LORD’.
