Israel is YHVH God’s Bow

Truth is important for unity, despite the fact that we may not even agree on what the truth is on some matters!  We have to stick with the truth that God’s Word is Truth, and that He will do precisely what He has had written for us, and even what He has kept to Himself.  None of us has all the truth; that which we have is only in part; that part is only as through a cloudy glass; and if we think we know anything, we don’t know anything as we ought to know.  Our hope and peace are in knowing the Lord Jesus and abiding in Him.

I am still expecting sacrifices to begin at some point, and that as a ‘proof’ that we will actually have already entered into the 70th week.  More people are speaking of these things among the unsaved religious nationalist Jews, but I hear nothing, really, from the believers.  I think that for many they just don’t think that they will be around when they begin, and so it is not relevant to them.  Deception is much riskier when we are misguided in our understanding of the truth.  We are all susceptible, but believing the truth sets us free.

I do think that the US and Israel were right in attacking Iran back when, but I also think that in doing so, the outcome, especially for America, would not be what they would have expected.  Even though Trump continues to vulgarly say out loud that he is leading Netanyahu, and not the other way around, “everyone else” is blaming Israel for dragging Trump into war for their own nefarious reasons.  Classic antisemitism, and God is sifting those who stay with Him, from those who depart and don’t want to be too closely associated with His chosen nation.  They are changeable; He is not!

Judah is prophetically described by his father, Jacob, as a feared preying lion (Gen 49:1, 8-9), and, meanwhile, in these significant times of the last days, YHVH is using Judah and Ephraim as His bow and arrows to fight avowed enemies of sociable Judeo-Christian civilization (Zech 9:11-15), doing the dirty work that others do not want to do, but who benefit from the garbage collectors, without giving them much thanks.  Then they accuse and blame Israel for getting dirty, and then fighting dirty against those who do not fight “by the rules”.   Yeshua/Jesus said that He came to fulfill every jot and tittle of the Law and the Prophets — whether for blessing or for judgment; these prophetic verses are part of that “in the last days”.  There is a verse somewhere, but I simply can’t remember where, or even how to search for it, that basically says:  when the “righteous” are threatened and backed into a corner, they will do things they would never have wanted to do.

God, Jesus, Himself is going to “pile it on” His enemies, and those of His people (Jews and disciples of Jesus), especially, it seems, from the last three trumpet blasts and onward, when His wrath is felt more severely as the long prophesied Day of the LORD/YHVH finally “arrives”. (Rev 8:13)   And what does the antichrist and the people do?!:  Blaspheme God and those who dwell in Heaven, and refuse to repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts!  (Rev 9:20-21; 13:5-10)  People “of the world” do not seem to mind that evil is allowed to “live on”.  Thank God that His thoughts and ways are different and higher than ours! (Is 55:6-11

People who cringe at what Israel and Jews must do to defend against those who satanically actively seek and encourage their destruction (and God is still dealing with His own chosen people and nation for their still present refusal to repent and believe the gospel; yet even this is God’s wisdom to bring in the fullness of Gentiles) are only storing up wrath for themselves, unless they, too, repent of their irrational hatred of light and murderous resentment towards the one true Sovereign Creator God, who is also the one and only Savior from eternal death.

When Jews and Christians wrongfully disrespect — and think and speak and act out — regarding Jesus, we are actually expressing what we think of God the Father.  When people disrespect and act that out against YHVH God’s chosen people (Gen 12:1-3), they are rising up against their God and Father, and His beloved Son who took all the blame and punishment on the cross, not for them only, but for all.  He did not die in vain, and the cost of the redemption is great, and will not be cheapened!

I am very thankful for God’s mercies and grace, and for His righteous judgments and love.  Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
