Once again tensions and violence are escalating and spreading in Israel. The Islamic version is that the Temple Mount is strictly theirs, and that the presence of non-Muslims up there is an affront to their holy site.(Consider Is 14:12-17) They deny any Jewish Israeli history there, which, of course, stirs up the emotions of the Jewish people whose soul has been forever connected to that site which YHVH God chose to place His name there. Without saving faith in Jesus, there is no peace for anyone. The site belongs to Him, and He will re-possess it for Himself in due time — in His righteousness, not ours.
According to the words of Messiah Himself, there will be some “holy place” of the Jews in these last days, and He was referencing the prophet Daniel to be sure that we (the “reader”) understand that this is not just past history fulfilled. As believers in Yeshua, we are not to aid and abet in the building of such a structure, nor to participate in sacrifices once it is in use. Jesus also says that many people are going to Hell, but we are not to help them on their way there, but rather to tell them the gospel in hope that they be saved and delivered from such a destiny.
